Fantastic News. PPL have just been awarded the prestigious CFD project by SDC at Renault F1. This is a £300k + project for PPL.

PPL have been applauded for their help with the FDG project at GE Healthcare. Alan Parncutt of GE stated 'I am very pleased to inform you that last Thursday 27th September we despatched the first commercial supplied FDG. We shipped again this morning but it has taken me all week to track down email addresses for you all! Mid August last year we gained financial approval for the project and less than twelve months ago we were breaking ground in the building at the start of construction so this is a tremendous achievement for the team and site. This would not have been possible without the hard work and flexibility of you all, our contractors/suppliers, and I wanted to thank as many of you personally for your support. Please pass on our thanks and congratulatory message to members of your teams who have contributed to this event but whom I haven't reached directly with this email. This is/has been without the doubt the fastest FDG project and possibly the fastest Grove Centre project from approval to commercial supply and you have helped make it happen.'

PPL has enrolled another apprentice at Thames Valley University Reading for 07/08. Billy Wells was 'delighted' with his chance to become a qualified pipe fitter with a quality firm!.

The FDG project at GE Healthcare was a fast track project. PPL delivered on time and on budget!
